Thank you for your interest in the product and artisans we showcase on these pages.  While most are available only through retail purchases, we are excited to represent the following hand crafted artisans.  In their own way, each were the catalyst for the development of a business that allowed us to introduce people in our home to the amazing artisans we came across during those all too brief years when we called their home our home too.

 

         Karoo Angels 

Delicate and magical wire and ostrich feather angels hand crafted by artisans in remote regions of South Africa's rural Karoo. Two individual community cooperatives fall under the umbrella of the Karoo Angels family, and each makes their own unique contribution to the creation of these exquisite little angels.

 We have been championing these stunning little key rings since before MisHMasH came to be, when we fell upon them at the Sedgefield Market in the Garden Route, South Africa.  This beautiful little social venture is a collaboration between artisans in Cape Town and crafters in an informal settlement outside Cape Town, and these magical and versatile hand crafted key rings are the result.

 

The brands highlighted above both specialize in artisan hand crafted products.  As each piece is entirely hand made, lead times for products can vary.
